Leicester City went eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table after a dramatic 2-2 draw with West Ham United in a game that saw Jamie Vardy sent off for diving. Vardy broke the deadlock with a clinical finish but the striker received a second yellow card in the second half after simulation in the penalty area.
Andy Carroll then levelled from the penalty spot before Aaron Cresswell scored a fantastic effort from range.
However, with seconds left on the clock Leonardo Ulloa kept his cool with a penalty, putting the pressure back on second-placed Tottenham ahead of their trip to Stoke today.
Yannick Bolasie struck for Crystal Palace to hold Arsenal to a 1-1 draw that keeps the Gunners fourth in the Premier League table.
Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock just before the half-time whistle, heading in from Danny Welbeck’s chipped through ball. But on 81 minutes, Bolasie cut inside before hitting a low shot that beat goalkeeper Petr Cech from outside the box.
The result sees Arsene Wenger’s side level on points with third-placed Manchester City but with a worse goal difference, while they trail leaders Leicester by 13 points.
