Niger State governor, Sani Bello
Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, has accused the past administration of Babangida Aliyu of embezzling a whooping sum of N6 billion meant for wards development projects in the state,adding that the money was deducted from the state and local government joint account, but was never disbursed to wards.
The governor, who said this during a town hall meeting with stakeholders in the state, expressed dismay with the reckless manner in which funds were misappropriated during the last administration.
