The Chairman of Tax Appeal Tribunal, Mr Nnamdi Ibegbu, has called on the Federal Government to always make judicious use of tax payers’ money in providing services.
Ibegbu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja of Friday.
According to him, people will be moved to pay their taxes when they see what government is doing with it.

To a large extent, Nigeria tax system is working well, experience as chairman of the Tax Appeal Tribunal taught me that we can do more.
The Federal Inland Revenue Services as governments’ official revenue collectors in the various states have to continue to work harder by collecting revenue from all those artisans and persons who ought to pay tax no matter how small.
Sensitisation is also needed so that people will voluntarily contribute to the development of this country,’’ he said.
