To assist the Corporate Services Team in the day-to-day work, providing high standards of customer service to Diplomats and their families as well as staff in the Embassy. This position reports to the Estates Officer.
- Arrange any maintenance and repairs in the different properties, scheduling work effectively and ensuring contracted work are completed satisfactory.
- Understand and ensure that health & safety practices are set up and followed in each property.
- Negotiate with current contractors, develop new contacts. Supervise the work of contractors at the main office and external locations
- Supervise the cleaner effectively ensuring that the cleanliness of the Embassy is maintained to a good standard.
- Monthly purchase of cleaning and office supplies
- Coordinate weekly delivery/payment of water jugs
- Monitor monthly cable and electricity bills payments
- Update general inventories
- Provide general administrative assistance
- A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in customer service
- Demonstrated experience carrying out administrative tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
